AI Credits
AI features in MicroPIM are metered in credits. Every AI action spends a small number of credits, so you can see what AI is costing you and stay in control of it.

How credits work
Section titled “How credits work”Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets at the start of each month. Unused allowance does not carry over into the next month.

While you are trialing a paid plan you get 10 credits per month, enough to try the AI tools before you commit. Your full plan allowance begins when the trial converts.
What each action costs

Translations are charged per target language, so translating one product into three languages costs six credits.
Credits are charged one action at a time, immediately before each AI request, rather than reserved up front when you start a batch. If a run is larger than your remaining balance, the products processed before you run out are kept, and the run stops there instead of failing as a whole.
If an AI request fails, its credits are returned to you. You are only charged for work that was actually delivered.
Where to see your balance
Section titled “Where to see your balance”- Profile > Plan shows your monthly allowance, how much you have used this period, any purchased credits, and your recent credit activity.

/admin/ai-enhancementshows your balance before you start a run, so you can check you have enough for the batch you have selected.
Where credits are used
Section titled “Where credits are used”Credits are spent by the AI features that call an AI provider on your behalf:
- AI Enrichment, filling in missing product data.
- Product SEO, generating optimized titles and meta descriptions.
- Product translation, translating product content into another language.
- Dictionary translation, translating your attributes, options, and categories.
- Image generation, creating product images.
Everything else in MicroPIM, including imports, exports, integrations, and all catalogue management, does not consume credits.
Buying more credits
Section titled “Buying more credits”If you need more than your monthly allowance, you can buy a credit pack at any time.

To buy a pack:
- Go to Profile > Plan.
- Find the AI credits section.
- Choose a pack and click to buy.
- Complete the payment in the checkout page that opens.
Current prices are shown at checkout. Your credits are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, and you can return to MicroPIM and carry on.
Purchased credits never expire. They stay on your account until you use them, including across month boundaries. Your monthly allowance is always spent first, so buying a pack never causes allowance you have already paid for to go to waste.
Packs stack, so you can buy more than one, and buying a pack does not change your plan or your monthly allowance.
Running out of credits
Section titled “Running out of credits”When your balance cannot cover an action, that action does not run and nothing is charged. Your existing data is untouched.
You have two ways forward: wait for your allowance to reset at the start of next month, or buy a credit pack from Profile > Plan. If you regularly run out, upgrading your plan raises your monthly allowance, which is usually better value than buying packs repeatedly.
