Add Inventory

Add Inventory sets a product’s stock level in a specific warehouse. It’s a fast, direct way to establish or correct stock for one product — the value you enter becomes the record’s quantity, and the change is recorded in the movement history as an adjustment.

Use Add Inventory for quick corrections and initial stock. For inbound supplier deliveries with line items and cost, use Goods Receiving instead.

Sidebar: Inventory → Inventory List → Add Inventory URL: /admin/inventory (Add Inventory dialog)

To add inventory, open the Add Inventory dialog, pick the product and warehouse, enter the quantity, and save.

  1. Open Inventory → Inventory List.
  2. Select Add Inventory to open the dialog.
  3. Choose the product (and variation, if applicable) and the warehouse.
  4. Enter the quantity to set, and an optional reason.
  5. Save. If no inventory record exists for that product and warehouse, one is created.
